Spider Veins
What Are Spider Veins? Spider veins are small abnormal veins which are less than 2mm in diameter which can occur anywhere on the body, but are particularly common on the legs.
Spider veins can be red, blue or purple. They may also cause burning, itching and aching. They are often associated with larger abnormal veins, reticular or varicose veins, which may or may not be visible.
What treatment is available for spider veins?
The majority of spider, reticular and small varicose veins can be treated by sclerotherapy.
